Interesting points:
- Fearless replaced with "Instability"
- Regular deployment replaces Daemonic Assault (Get ready to re-learn the army.)
- No EW (Which everyone expected anyway.)
Of course, Screamers and Flamers get nerfed, but we all knew that was coming. Tastytaste suggests an April release, rather than March. We'll see about that.
Update: Well Tastytaste was wrong about April. It all begins Saturday.
Idk about at least not the Greater Daemons having Eternal Warrior (There goes my 300pt Bloodthirster) but hey I am down for all of this "fast" play with Daemons such as the warp portals they mentioned above... If I can make a Skull Throne, Ecstasy Shrine, Tower of Change or a Forest of Pestilence for a warp portal no complaints here :D
ReplyDeleteGlad I've started Chaos Space Marines. Not that I'm done with Daemons, just that I have something to fall back on while learning how to play them again.
ReplyDeleteI've grown fond if Daemonic Assault, but if the warp portals are true, it would make for some fun conversions.
ICs being able to join Chaos Space Marines just seems right. I'll be happy to have that.
No EW and Daemonic Assault (Assuming they're true) should mean a fair reduction of points especially for the Slaanesh units. Maybe getting some kind of armor save for Bloodletters if they expect us to go on foot without a true transport....

ReplyDeleteokay, deleting something that hase made the army special is a truly magnificant act. Not. Srs, wtf, i liked the army from beginning because of their special and a bit retarded rules. Just pounding them till they match the standard is rancid...

ReplyDeleteI envy you Slaede lol I have to drop a good bit of money for my Daemons cause the one's I have now are..... not in a state worthy of my or the Chaos Gods eyes. But yeah pumped for the New Daemons (maybe our troops won't suck anymore)
DeleteI am not keen on the loss of daemonic assault rumour; daemons unique point is daemonic assault and not only that without it units won't reach to the other side of the board. If a portal is true, then it needs to be deployed at a certain time and can't be blocked or somthing.
ReplyDeleteEternal warrior doesn't bother me and instability tests is nice, though Daemons should still be fearless.
