It's my birthday, so I've been busy doing birthday stuff since I left work, but I had to comment on the new Segways of Khorne. I can only assume they are powered by the sheer embarrassment of the riders. Though I must say, as a not-so-big fan of Khorne, I like these precisely because they look so silly, and beating my opponents with a silly looking army is half my fun! I hope they have good rules!

So, just wondering about "extremely limited" part I'm seeing on all thr product info. Think it's everything, or just the resin heralds? $40 for a Tzeentch Chariot seems decent. Hopefully it gets a torrent flamer.
ReplyDeleteTorrent flamer would be my guess, but will I need that is the question...
DeleteI think all the new models look just crap..just my opinion, could have done alot better than these cartoonish versions of daemons.
ReplyDeleteAgreed. I am mostly let down, but I love the silliness of the Khorne stuff. So bad it's good.
DeleteYou and me both, Anon. I can at least take solace in how fantastic the book cover art is, though.
DeleteHappy Birthday, mate. Great blog
ReplyDeleteHappy belated Birthday!
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, we do hope they have good rules. Of course... said rules are done by:

Just look.
Kelly is doing the 40k codex. Ward is fantasy.

Hopefully there will be better synergy with CSM.
I'm glad it's Kelly. I liked the Space Wolves book. Dark Eldar too.
Well the CSM book was fairly mediocre until Heldrakes were given a turret weapon and blastmasters could go in a unit of five, so I don't expect to be overwhelmed by the power, but I also wonder how much the book will change in the months following release.
DeleteIm surprised they let Matt Ward get near WHFB daemons again afther the 7th edition disaster.
